In conjunction with our fabulous sponsors at Southside Toyota, the Mt Gravatt AFC has taken part in Planet Ark’s National Tree Day as an opportunity to spruce up the precinct and grounds around the club and gym.
National Tree Day is the largest community and tree planting event in Australia. It was established to help engage members of the community with environmental activities and educate them about the world and the environment around them. Traditionally National Tree Day is in August but had to be postponed this year due to COVID restrictions.
A huge thanks to Jason Tome & Bill Renner as well as The Angus, Carmody, McDonald and Bennett families for helping with the planting for this year's National Tree Day.
