Our club is committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where boys and girls of all backgrounds and skill levels can enjoy the game of Australian Rules Football.

At Mt Gravatt AFC, we value fun and friendship as the cornerstones of our junior program. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to play footy, make new friends, and build lifelong memories. Our focus on inclusivity ensures that everyone feels welcome and part of our vibrant community, regardless of their experience or skill level.

We provide comprehensive training, mentorship, and development opportunities to help young athletes reach their full potential and achieve their football dreams.

Youth
Age: 12-17
Training: Twice per week
Season: Commences mid April and concludes late August​​

Community Auskick Play
Age: 5-6
Season: Commence mid-May (post Auskick program)
​
This NAB AFL Auskick Transition program is the next step after the NAB AFL Auskick program.
Each session starts with 15 minutes of practice before putting skills into action with up to 45 minutes of modified game play​
Junior
Age: 8-11
Training: 1-2 times per week
Season: Commences mid April and concludes early August

FairPlay Vouchers
The program supports eligible Queensland parents and carers with a $200 voucher towards the cost of sports registration for kids aged between 5-17
Each round of Fairplay Vouchers are one time use only and cannot be used for multiple footy programs
Transfers
Players interested in transferring to Mt Gravatt Vultures from another club are invited to email their details to mtgafc.registrar@gmail.com.
The National Transfer window will be open from 1 November to 30 November and will then not reopen until 1 February
Season Dates & Age Groups
FEES
Junior Fees include - Presentation Day including trophy & photo, league affiliation, training shirt, grounds & facilities upkeep, coaching & equipment, umpires, incidental allowance e.g. carnivals.
Youth Fees include - Presentation event including trophy & photo, league affiliation including umpires, training shirt, grounds & facilities upkeep, coaching & equipment, first aid responders, incidentals allowance e.g. specialised programs.
++ for U17 only - Platinum Insurance

A 10% EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT has been applied to all club fees paid before 31 December 2024. After this date, club fees will increase back to the full amount as per the fee breakdown below.
Cancellation Fee - from $25 (up to max of $50) for cancelling or transferring after registration is paid.
